Week 10; chapter 4.

This image pertains to objectification of Women,
but in the reverse. This photo is of a Middle Eastern
women who has a disease that causes skin lesions.
Her face is covered because she is shamed (due to her
culture) by her disfigurement.

This creation speaks to me about
ways
that humans are rendered and "created".
It is almost primordial, being both simple
and intricate at the same time.
This piece pertains to the "Malleable Body",
and can be interpreted many ways, it is
very rudimentary in its depiction.
(that's why I like it!)

These images represent symbolic opposites of what society defines as "objectification" or the classic "male" image, this is why I chose to use these; as a means to go against the norm!
